UNIT1 Task 1: Aperture Priority

On Task 1 we had to take some photos showing the difference of the Aperture Priority. In my case I took the first ones indoors, Cleo (my cat) was my model for the set. She likes to sit by the monstera plants and the contrast of colours is perfect to show the Aperture Priority.

For the second set of photos I decided to try it outside. Near my home there is a beautiful tree that reminds me of Christmas and I thought it would be nice to try the Bokeh Effect on it.

I'm really please of how both set came along. It was a fun experience to try this outside and also inside and see difference of the effect between them.

1.2 Evaluation and reflection

I enjoyed doing this task and choosing the Bokeh Effect. It is a very interesting visual effect and really practical to know.
From my selection of shots, my favourite is "Cleo vs Monstera". The reason is because it is a beautiful model and being a cat sometimes is difficult to make them stand still.

The second set of shots was a bit hart to shoot because of simple interferance such as wind and trying to get the best angle and composition. I wanted the berries to really stand out.

I believe I achieve this by using depths of field and a wide lens. It also stands out because of the green branches of the tree. I have worked on Aperture Priority or Bokeh Effect before but this time it has help me to be even more specific.
